Ethical Savings & Investments

‘I want to save now that I am on a decent basic income, but I have concerns about the behaviour of a lot of companies and don’t want to invest in funds where there are ethical issues.’

We have both expertise and a keen interest in ethical investing, with an increasing number of clients who have ethical concerns. We have also had several years’ experience advising the Trustees of charities, who like to know that their investments sit comfortably with the charity’s aims and objectives.

Known by a number of different names, from Ethical Investing to Sustainable Investing to Socially Responsible Investing, this is about investing money in areas that benefit the environment or society in general. Many clients like to know that their investments are “doing good” as well as “doing well”, and in the industry as a whole, awareness of the Environmental, Social and Governance risks are already influencing the investment strategies of many investment managers.

The Practice is registered with UKSIF – the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association (affiliated to the Ethical Investment Association), as one of only a handful of Financial Advisers in the south of England who are.
